​Many masters degree courses are taught in Dutch or French, although there are an increasing amount of internationally aimed courses that allow you to study in Belgium in English. If you’re applying for a course that is taught in French, you’ll have to hold excellent French language skills. You’ll quite often have to pass a French proficiency test in order to be offered a place on the course.

​With a full-time course load and a valid residence permit, international studies can work in addition to studying, although non-EU students may need a work permit.
​Withing eight days of your arrival to Belgium, you must visit your local municipal administration offices/town hall (maison communale/gemeentehuis) to request your residence permit and be registered on the foreigner’s population register.

​Cost of living in Belgium is 26.18% higher than in Taiwan. Rent in Belgium is 53.87% higher than in Taiwan(average data for all cities).
